Donations update

The American Red Cross Shelter located at the Student Recreation Center has asked that NO MORE donations be brought to the Student Rec. They have been overwhelmed by the huge hearts of the Tuscaloosa community and all needs have been met for the next week. There are alternate drop-off locations listed here.
MONETARY DONATIONS
This is the biggest need at this time. You may make monetary donations to the American Red Cross and to the Salvation Army. Make donations to the American Red Cross at the West Alabama office located on 15th Street across from the University Mall. Make sure that you indicate “Hurricane Katrina Relief” on your check to qualify to have your donation matched by the Compass Bank.

No clothing donations are needed at this time. The shelter has indicated that they have enough for the moment.

All school age children will be attending school starting on Tuesday. There is a great need for school supplies for these children. Your donation of these items would be greatly appreciated:
